Our Team.

Kathleen brings over 15 years of experience in business operations in both nonprofit and for-profit sectors. In her previous role in the scholarly publishing industry at Cabells, she focused on journal analytics and ethical publishing practices. During her tenure, she spearheaded the development of an innovative journal evaluation tool designed to identify deceptive journals and their practices. Prior to her time at Cabells, she served as a Medical Case Manager at a local AIDS services organization, where she provided essential support to individuals living with HIV and AIDS, ensuring they accessed necessary medical services and medications, while also overseeing two federally funded housing programs. Kathleen holds a BS in Psychology from Lamar University and an MBA from the University of Houston.
