Dr. Laura Kleiman of Reboot Rx named Extraordinary Women Advancing Healthcare Honoree
(Boston, MA - June 29, 2021) Reboot Rx today announced that Laura Kleiman, PhD, will be receiving an Extraordinary Women Advancing Healthcare Award from The Commonwealth Institute. This award is the first of its kind to reach across diverse sectors of healthcare to recognize and celebrate remarkable Massachusetts-based women healthcare leaders for their outstanding career achievements and impact, inspiring and leading others, and fostering diversity.
Dr. Kleiman is the Founder and CEO of Reboot Rx, the nonprofit improving the lives of cancer patients with existing non-cancer generic drugs. “Laura is an innovator in a space that few others have been willing to tackle,” said Andrea Pollinger, Founding Board Chair of Reboot Rx. “She is seizing on solutions that are right in front of us, by using advanced technology and collaborations to get new treatments to cancer patients more quickly.”
“The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is a global leader in the healthcare industry, so it is fitting that The Commonwealth Institute would celebrate and honor emerging women leaders in the industry,” said Elizabeth L. Hailer, CEO of The Commonwealth Institute and co-Chair of the Extraordinary Women Advancing Healthcare Awards. “This award is a testament to the dedication, innovation, and influence of these extraordinary women leaders.”
