Raquel Gallagher

Raquel Gallagher is a Biomedical Research Associate at Reboot Rx, where she supports clinical and policy strategies to advance the use of repurposed generic drugs in cancer care. She joined Reboot Rx full time in 2023 after interning in 2022 and focuses on translating scientific and regulatory evidence into actionable strategies.

Raquel co-authored a 2024 policy publication examining regulatory pathways for nonprofit-led drug repurposing. She also contributed to the development of the organization’s first drug-cancer pair website, helping make complex clinical evidence more accessible and usable for clinicians and researchers.

Prior to Reboot Rx, Raquel conducted research at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she studied COVID-19 vaccine responses in patients with multiple myeloma. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences, with a concentration in Human Health & Disease, from Northwestern University. Raquel is passionate about advancing affordable access to healthcare and is driven by the potential of data-driven science to improve outcomes across populations.
